Fotos 1-3 : The idyllic and tiny village of Neroth (400 m ; 945 inhabitants) is overshadowed by the volcano keel "Nerother Kopf" (647 m) and hidden in an undulating landscape between the well-known cities of Gerolstein (10 km) and Daun (7 km).

Foto 4 : The mystical castle ruins "Freudenkoppe" at the summit of the volcano keel "Nerother Kopf", built in 1340 by King Johann von Böhmen, Count of Luxemburg, are only a 30-minute hike away from the centre of Neroth.

Fotos 5+6 : Numerous well-remained castles can be found in the Eifel region.

Fotos 7-10 : Surrounded by an infinite natural scenery, Neroth offers excellent hiking and cycling possibilities.
