Gran Canaria - Puerto de Mogan

October 16, 2007 - Permalink - 1 comment

Puerto de Mogan, with its superb setting at the very end of a long and steep valley, is also known as the "little venice" of the Canary Islands thanks to the picturesque beauty of the village with its marina and its lively fishing activity.

The small sandy beach of Playa de Mogan is mainly visited by locals and holiday tourists staying in the Cordial Mogan Playa Hotel, so far the only first-class accommodation option in Puerto de Mogan.

Due to its authentic character and the year-round tranquility, Puerto de Mogan distincts itself from the other popular holiday spots on the island, as there are Playa del Ingles, San Augustin, Maspalomas and Meloneras.
