Walking over the Brooklyn Bridge - New York - United States

November 06, 2007 - Permalink - No comments

I can highly advise tourists going to New York, to walk over the Brooklyn bridge.
It takes a while to cross it but it is certainly worthwhile.

How we did it ?

We took the subway untill the station at the opposite side of Manhattan. There we went on to the bridge.
If you cant see the path to the bridge, better ask it at someone if you come out of the subway

While walking at the bridge from that side, you allways have the Manhattan skyline in front of you.

At the other side of the bridge, in Manhattan, there is a small park and a couple of beautiful buildings in the early 19th century architecture.

The total trip takes in between 2 and 3 hours (strolling, sitting included).
