Witty Places To Make Vacations With Fun
Paris is a one
of the most romantic places in the world and is ever popular as a tourist
destination. A great choice for a short break or long weekend, there is a
dizzying array of sights and places to see and it may seem like there is never
enough time to take it all in. Paris
has the reputation of being the most beautiful and romantic of all cities,
brimming with historic associations and remaining vastly influential in the
realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design. I am first time visit in this
city. I reserve my cheap
air tickets at discount rates. I reserved my hotel there from a best hotel rates
site by searching on net which give me a list of hotels in
paris and I reserved from this site and get the discount offer. I
reached that city by Charles de Gaulle International Airport. This airport was
very beautiful decorated which was very good facilities in tourist include
taxi, bus and train. But I hire taxi and reached to my holidays
inn paris hotel at noon.
Hotel was well furnished and good facilities were available there. I put my
luggage in room and get fresh and take lunch. After lunch I went to see the
Eiffel tower was one of the modern architectural masterpieces which 300 meters
out of the ground and stands out in the Paris
skyline, visible from all over the city. Designed and built by Gustavo Eiffel
to commemorate the centenary of French revolution in 1889, it has two
restaurants in the lower level while there was a bar, replica of Gustavo Eiffel
and a souvenir shop on the top platform. Second day I went to see the Louvre
art museum was a very beautiful and nice museum which was another must see in Paris.
The museum collection was overwhelming in size which includes many paintings,
coins, antiques and sculptures. The famous painting of Mona Lisa by Picasso is
also kept here. It has a long list of items which was from ages and also of
different origin and civilization. The museum pass cards work here and the
tickets are half priced after 3 PM
and on Sunday's. Third Day I went to see the Notre Dame Cathedral was possibly
the most stunning gothic in the world. Its building was started in 1163 and it
took almost 200 years to complete. It has witnessed many events related to big
wigs like Napoleon, Pope John Paul II and others. This place had witnessed some
of the greatest moment in the history of the city. Fourth day I went to see the
Arc de Triomphe was one of the places in Paris
which was always on the top of the list to visit. You can go to the top through
stairway or by taking a windlass the view of Paris
from here was beautiful. It was commissioned by Napoleon after he won the
battle against Austerity in 1806, but it was finally built in 1836. Fifth day I
went to see Sacre Coeur church was not painted as it appears to be but the
whiteness is through the liquid secreted by the white stone. This place will
have a grand effect on you because of its size and location. This was a
beautiful place to go and remember the good days once you are back to your
home.
Go and see how the beauty of these places mesmerizes you. Paris
is and will always be a tourist hub and center of attraction for its monuments
and museums.
