04. Getting our stuff together
From now on we can say that our departure date is set on the 27th of January 2008. This is the date we’re also arriving at Istanbul. Before we’re going on from that part we had to make all papers right.
There are lots you have to fill in and some important documents you can’t miss before even setting one foot on foreign ground.
A passport is required, different financial things have to be straight and for me I had to break up my just renewed part-time contract at UPC Netherlands. My work itself was great, but I couldn’t miss this unique chance.
