Vaison-la-Romaine - Provence - France
A few pictures from Vaison-la-Romaine a famous and picturesque village near the Mont Ventoux in Provence.
It is well knowed for 2 main reasons :
a) the Roman ruins in the center of the City
b) the cute old village center on the hill slopes next to the river.
A flash flood caused many dead people 20 years ago when the turbulent water had to go though the narrow village gorge and went even over the bridge!
