The bullfighting
The art of bullfighting, know as corrida del toro(running the bulls) or fiesta brava (the ferocious festival), dates back as far as Roman times. Francisco Romero from Ronda, Spain first conducted the bullfighting in 1726. Is a subject lots of controversy over its almost 300 year history and it continues to this day. Many people believed that it is a time honored tradition and a cornerstone of Spanish Culture. Others say that it is a cruel and callous sport to be despise despite its cultural heritage. It has been banned by the Pope and praised by the King , until now there is no clear view how to interpret the bullfighting tradition. It is really clear, it always a brutal sports.
Over the years, the population of Spain has increasingly turned away from bullfight but still the bullfighting is always persisting as much as ever. 30% of the population says they are somewhat or very interested, while the 70% shows little to no interest.
